He was home and now he's gone

I had meant to get on here and have Chad write while he was home, but it just didn't happen. We had a wonderful R&R with our family. We were able to do a little traveling, get some things done around home, and just enjoy having our family together.

Thank you for the prayers and support.

Praying for you Christy as you go through this transition time again.

Oh, I wish I could give you a hug. For now I'll just say "Thank you" from our family to yours.

We have a friend that we graduated with who lives in Germany now after being stationed there. I'm not sure if he is still in the military or not. We rarely talk to him, but think of him often. I will lift your family up in prayer when we pray for him.

Hi, Christy! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I'm glad for your opinion. I certainly don't believe I'm superwoman or that I ever need to be. I think women in your situation show tremendous strength that most of us never have to use! I clarified my stand in the comment under yours. I'd love to have you come back and read it!

I was on 3 R + R's while in Vietnam: 68-70. Twice to Bangkok and once to Japan ! Hey, I needed another R and R afterward to rest up.. lol.
